Vance Paces Bombers At Heartland Classic
Ballard Scores 383 Team Points
The women's cross country team competed in the Heartland Classic hosted by Central College. The Bombers finished 16th in the field of 23 teams finishing with 383 team points. Millard West (NE) won the meet finishing with 71 team points.
Ava Vance finished 20th in a time of 20:09.5. Ava Richardson and Raya Miller finished in the top 100 finishing 63rd (21:11.9) and 91st (22:16.6). Kya Hermann (104th - 22:40.2), Grace Grundmeyer (105th - 22:40.7), and McKenzie Dee (117th - 23:46.8) rounded out the Bomber's field.
The Bombers are back in action on Monday - September 18 when they compete in the ADM Invitational Meet. The middle school, junior varsity, and varsity will race and the action starts at 4:30 PM.
