Bombers Run In Rain Soaked Heartland Classic; Noe Champion
Ballard Finishes With 292 Team Points
The women's cross country team competed in the Heartland Classic hosted by Central College. The event was delayed due to multiple storms in the area. The Bombers finished 9th in the field of 31 teams finishing with 292 team points. Pella won the meet finishing with 143 team points.
Paityn Noe set the course record and was the overall individual champion. She finished in a time of 17:28.7. Annika Larson finished in the top 10 placing 8th in a time of 19:29.4. Ava Vance and Ava Richardson finished in the top 100 finishing 32nd (20:41) and 94th (21:42.4). McKenzie Dee (157th - 22:46.4), Raegan Loewe (174th - 23:24.8), and Katie Tollefson (208th - 25:54.8) rounded out the Bomber's field.
The Bombers are back in action on Monday - September 19 when they compete in the ADM Invitational Meet. The middle school, junior varsity, and varsity will race and the action starts at 4:30 PM.
