Bombers Fall to Tigers in RRC Showdown
#10 ADM Defeats Ballard 3-1
The Bomber volleyball team took on the #10-ranked ADM Tigers in a Raccoon River Conference volleyball clash Tuesday night, battling hard but ultimately falling 3-1. ADM claimed the victory in four sets with scores of 25-15, 26-24, 16-25, and 25-10.
The Tigers came out strong in the first set, quickly gaining control and winning 25-15. Ballard rallied in the second, pushing ADM to the brink before the Tigers edged them out 26-24. Refusing to go down easily, the Bombers bounced back in the third set, dominating 25-16. However, ADM regrouped and closed out the match with a commanding 25-10 win in the fourth set.
The loss drops the Bombers to a 7-9 overall record and 2-2 in conference play. Up next, the Bombers will head to the Nevada Tournament on Saturday, September 28, with the first match starting at 8:30 AM.
