Bombers Gain Experience At Nevada Tournament
Bombers Go 2-2 On The Day
The Ballard volleyball team competed in the Nevada Tournament on Saturday. The Bombers would finish pool play 2-1 and finish 2nd in the pool. The Bombers would fall to Class 4A #1 Clear Creek-Amana in the first round of pool play. In the second round of pool play, the Bombers would defeat Lake Mills 21-15, 21-13. The Bombers would finish pool play by defeating Iowa Falls-Alden 21-8, 21-9.
The Bombers, from pool play results, would compete in the gold bracket as the #2 seed from Pool C. The Bombers would lose their quarterfinal match 16-21, 21-17, 15-13 to #3 Des Moines Christian and would finish the day at 2-2.
After the tournament, the Bomber's record stands at 17-5 (4-1) on the season.
The Bombers are back in action on Tuesday - September 26 when they travel to #11 North Polk in a Raccoon River Conference match-up. The games will start at 5:30 PM.
