The Ballard women's tennis team saw its season come to a close Saturday in the Class 1A Regional Final at Pella.  The host Dutch proved too strong, earning a 5–0 victory to advance in postseason play.

Ballard battled across the courts but was unable to break through against a talented Pella lineup.  With the loss, the Bombers' postseason run ends after a strong showing in the regional tournament that included a semifinal victory over Knoxville earlier in the week.
