Bombers Fall on the Road in RRC Action
#4 North Polk Defeats Ballard 10-0
The Ballard women's soccer team faced a difficult challenge Monday night against #4 North Polk in Raccoon River Conference play, falling 10-0 on the road. North Polk controlled the match from the opening whistle, building a 5-0 halftime lead before adding five more goals in the second half.
Despite the result, Ballard continued to compete against one of the top programs in the state. The Bombers now sit at 5-4-2 overall and 3-2-1 in conference action as they continue through a demanding stretch of their schedule.
The Bombers return to action Tuesday, May 12, when they travel to face ninth-ranked ADM Tigers women's soccer. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:30 PM.
