Bombers Compete in Conference Double Dual
Ballard Goes 0-2 On The Night
The Ballard's men's wrestling team faced a challenging night of competition Tuesday at Boone, taking part in a Raccoon River Conference double dual against Boone and Bondurant-Farrar.
In the opening dual, Ballard fell to Bondurant-Farrar, 70–5. The Bombers' lone team points came at 132 pounds, where Easton Enyeart earned a technical fall victory over Nickolus McCrea, 17–1. Bondurant-Farrar controlled much of the dual with a combination of falls, major decisions, and technical falls across the remaining weight classes.
Ballard regrouped in the second dual against Boone but came up short, falling 56–15. The Bombers picked up three individual victories in the matchup. Nolan Adams earned a 5–2 decision at 126 pounds, Carter Jeffs recorded a fall at 157 pounds in 2:23, and Greyson Ehresman added a fall at 190 pounds in 1:49. Boone was able to capitalize in several other matches with bonus-point wins to secure the dual.
Following the double dual, Ballard's record stands at 1–4 overall and 1–2 in conference action.
The Bombers will be back on the mat Thursday, December 18, when they travel to Winterset for another Raccoon River Conference dual beginning at 5:30 PM.
