Women’s Bowling Claims Title
Ballard Scores A 2098 On The Day
The Ballard women's bowling team delivered a championship performance at the Heart of the Raccoon Conference Bowling Tournament, finishing first overall and capturing the conference title.
Ballard topped the field with a team score of 2,098, edging out Gilbert (1,961) and Nevada (1,871) in a competitive seven-team tournament. ADM (1,775), Bondurant-Farrar (1,770), Carroll (1,524), and Greene County (1,437) rounded out the standings.
In addition to winning the tournament, Ballard also led the conference in total pins for the season, finishing with 21,735 pins. The Bombers' consistent performance across all meets proved to be the difference, as they finished well ahead of ADM (20,597) and Nevada (19,530) in the season-long totals.
Ballard now turns its focus to postseason play, as the Bombers will host the State Qualifying Meet on Monday, February 2, at Perfect Games in Ames. Competition is scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM.
