Bombers Improve to 10–0 with Road Victory
Ballard Defeats Norwalk 2042-1558
The Ballard women's bowling team continued its unbeaten season Monday afternoon with a convincing 2042–1558 road victory over Norwalk.
Ballard set the tone early and never let up, controlling the match from start to finish with consistent scoring across the lineup. The Bombers placed four bowlers in the top five in total pins, showcasing both depth and efficiency on the lanes.
Sophomore Kendall Ersland led all competitors with a dominant performance, rolling a match-best 353 series and the high game of 195. Junior Kylie Chambers followed with a strong 275 series, while senior Jillian Severson added 268 pins to round out Ballard's top scorers. Junior Addison Hosteng also cracked the top five with a 247 series.
Ballard's consistency carried over into the high game standings as well, with Ersland, Chambers, Severson, and Afton Holmes all finishing among the top four. The Bombers' ability to limit open frames and capitalize on spare opportunities proved to be the difference throughout the match.
With the win, Ballard improves to 10–0 overall and 5–0 in Heart of Raccoon Conference play.
The Bombers return home Monday, January 19, to host ADM in a Heart of Raccoon Conference matchup scheduled for 2:30 PM.
