Strong Night from Ersland, Chambers Powers Bombers Bowling Victory
Ballard Defeats Bondurant-Farrar 2066-1822
The Ballard women's bowling team continued its strong start to the season on Tuesday night, earning a decisive home victory over Bondurant-Farrar, 2066–1822. With the win, the Bombers improved to 8-0 overall and 4-0 in conference play.
Ballard was led by sophomore Kendall Ersland, who delivered a standout performance across the board. Ersland rolled a high game of 193 and finished with a meet-best series of 361, averaging 180.5 pins per game. Her consistency and scoring set the tone for Ballard throughout the competition.
Junior Kylie Chambers also turned in a solid night for the Bombers, posting a series total of 312 and a high game of 158. Chambers finished second overall in both series and average, recording a 156.0 pins-per-game mark. Together, Ersland and Chambers provided Ballard with a reliable one-two punch that proved difficult for Bondurant-Farrar to match.
Bondurant-Farrar was paced by senior Peyton Minion, who led her team with a 300 series and a 164 high game, averaging 150.0 pins per game. Ella Haselhoff added a 289 series and a high game of 145, while Myah Greubel contributed a 241 series for the Bluejays.
The Bombers will look to remain unbeaten when they travel to Nevada on January 15 for a 4:00 PM meet.
