Women’s Bowling Rolls Past Tigers
Ballard Defeats Madrid 1890-1384
The Ballard varsity women's bowling team continued its strong start to the season on Tuesday, delivering a commanding performance in a non-conference matchup at home against Madrid. The Bombers were locked in from the first frame, powering their way to a 1890–1384 victory.
Sophomore standout Kendall Ersland led the field in every major category, posting the top series of the night with a 317, highlighted by the event's high game of 160. Her consistency carried her to the best score-per-game average as well at 158.50.
Right behind her was junior Kylie Chambers, who claimed second in total pins with a 260 series and rolled the night's second-highest game at 134, finishing with a 130.00 average. Sophomore Zoey Rahner was close behind, taking third overall with a 259 series and a high game of 133, showing steady form throughout the match.
Senior Arden McCuddin rounded out Ballard's top four with a 242 series and a high game of 122, placing her fourth in total pins and continuing her reliable presence in the lineup.
Madrid's top performer was junior Adelyn White, who finished fifth overall with a 216 series and an average of 108.00, while freshman Judith Collins-LaRue notched Madrid's top game of the night with a 125.
Ballard's depth, consistency, and strong individual showings secured a well-rounded team victory as the Bombers controlled the match from start to finish.
With the win, Ballard improves to 4–0 (1–0) on the season.
