Bombers Fall to Indians in Home Bowling Match
Oskaloosa Defeats Ballard 1983-1889
The Ballard women's bowling team hosted Oskaloosa in a competitive matchup but ultimately came up short, falling 1983-1889. The loss moves Ballard to a 6-5 overall record and 5-5 in conference play as they prepare for the upcoming Two Rivers Conference Meet.
Freshman Kendall Ersland led Ballard in total pins with 271, finishing fourth overall in the competition. Senior Piper Thompson followed closely behind with a total of 255 pins. In the high game category, Jenna Onstot posted Ballard's best individual score with a 149, placing second overall.
Oskaloosa's Sidney Thompson delivered a standout performance, claiming the top spot in both total pins (328) and high game (188). Her consistency helped propel Oskaloosa to victory.
The team will look to bounce back on Friday, February 14, when they travel to Oskaloosa for the Two Rivers Conference Meet, set to begin at 9 AM.
