Women’s Bowling Rolls Past ADM in Season Opener
Ballard Defeats ADM 1793-1715
The Ballard Bombers women's bowling team launched their season in style, defeating the ADM Tigers 1,793 to 1,715 in a closely contested match. The Bombers, now 1-0, showcased a balanced and consistent performance to secure their first victory of the season.
Leading the charge was senior Jenna Onstot, who posted a team-high 302 total pins, including an impressive high game of 165. Freshman Kendall Ersland also made an immediate impact in her varsity debut, tallying 249 total pins with a high game of 149.
Contributions came from every member of the Bombers' lineup. Senior Piper Thompson bowled a 279 series with a high game of 143, while junior Arden McCuddin added a 236 total and a high game of 126. Sophomore Natalie Kahler (207 total, high game 116) and senior Renzi Ingersoll (174 total, high game 106) rounded out the team effort.
"This was a fantastic start to the season," said head coach Corey Vespestad. "Everyone contributed, and it's exciting to see the hard work in practice translate into success on the lanes. We're looking forward to building on this momentum."
The Bombers return to action on December 3, when they travel to Pella Christian to compete at Statesmen Lanes, with the match set to begin at 2:00 PM.
