Bombers Look Ahead After Setback to Tigers
#14 ADM Defeats Ballard 51-28
Ballard's women's basketball team faced a tough test on Friday night at #14-ranked ADM, falling 51-28 in a conference matchup.
The Bombers struggled to find consistent offense, shooting just 25% from the field and 15.8% from beyond the arc. ADM controlled the game from the start, jumping out to a 14-7 lead after the first quarter and steadily building their advantage.
Raya Miller led Ballard with 3 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists, while Grace Grundmeyer contributed 7 points and 4 rebounds. Olivia Wacha added 5 rebounds and 2 assists, but the Bombers were unable to overcome ADM's size and defensive pressure.
Ballard's record now stands at 5-13 overall, 4-9 in conference play.
The team will look to bounce back on Tuesday, February 3, when they travel to Gilbert for a 6:00 PM tipoff.
