Ballard Defeats Boone 54-35
The Ballard women's basketball team defended its home court Tuesday night, defeating Boone 54–35 in an RRC contest at the Hangar.
Ballard set the tone early and continued to build separation as the game progressed, using balanced scoring and consistent defensive pressure to control the tempo. The Bombers steadily increased their lead through all four quarters, limiting Boone's offensive opportunities and capitalizing on stops at the defensive end.
The win moves Ballard to 5–10 overall and 4–6 in Raccoon River Conference play as the team continues to make strides during the second half of the season.
Ballard will face a stiff road test next, traveling to No. 8 North Polk on Friday, January 23. Tip-off is scheduled for 6:00 PM in another RRC matchup.
