The women's basketball team took a commanding victory in the regional quarterfinal on Wednesday night, defeating Grinnell 51-26. With strong defense and balanced scoring, the Bombers controlled the game from start to finish, securing their spot in the next round of the postseason.
Ballard (7-15, 5-11) set the tone early, limiting Grinnell's offensive opportunities while capitalizing on key possessions. Their defensive intensity held Grinnell to just 26 points, marking one of their best performances of the season.
With the win, the Bombers advance to the Regional Semifinal, where they will face #6 Dallas Center-Grimes on Saturday, February 22, at 7:00 PM.
