Bombers Fall Short To Stormin' Pointers
Center Point-Urbana Defeats Ballard 8-6

The Ballard softball team fell to Center Point-Urbana on Tuesday night 8-6 in non conference action. Brooklyn Baumgardner would start for the Bombers going 4 1/3 innings giving up three runs on three hits. Ella Husak was 3 for 5 scoring two runs and swiping two bases. Sam Vetter was 3 for 3 and drove in two runs. Maggie Mortensen and Jada Lande each had two hits on the night for the Bombers.
With the loss, the Bombers fall to 3-1 (1-0) on the season.
The Bombers are back in action on Thursday, June 2 when they host #4 ADM in a Raccoon River Conference game. The junior varsity and varsity will play starting at 5:30 PM.
