Day #2 and #3 Find Bombers Rising
Ballard Scores 14 Team Points; Finish 19th
The Ballard men's track team finished up day #2 and #3 at the State Track Meet in Des Moines which found the Bombers with a very successful weekend.
On Friday, the 4x400 M relay team finished with the 7th best time in the preliminary round with a time 3:25.07 to qualify for the finals. The relay team consisted of Jameson Witt, Jaxson Fleischmann, Eli Rouse, and Chance Lande. Chase Ihle would finish fourth in the long jump. His best jump was 21'8.25" the best for any freshman in the field.
On Saturday, the sprint medley team (Jayden Swain, Jaden Peasley, Rouse, Lande) would finish 13th in a time of 1:35.40. The 4x400 M relay team would finish 7th running in a time of 3:23.87.
The Bombers finished 29th overall at the state meet with 14 team points.
The Bomber's season has came to an end.
