Bombers Compete At Comet Invite
Ballard Scores 65 Team Points
The Ballard men's track team finished fifth at the North Polk Invitational on Tuesday night in Alleman.
The Bombers are back in action on Thursday - April 27 when they compete at the Roland-Story Invitational. The meet will start at 4:30 PM.
Comments From Men's Head Coach Darren Herrold:
"The men's track team had another great night. The weather cooperated with us for the first time this year at North Polk, and we were challenged in every race. The Sprint Medley Team of Jayden Swain, Jaeden Peasley, Eli Rouse, and Jameson Witt earned first with a very solid performance. Our shuttle hurdle team was able to finally compete after battling through injuries all season. The team of Kiir Wol, Stetson Kane, Max Clark, and Chase Ihle ran a 1:08.52 to earn 2nd to a solid North Polk team. As a team, we did finish 5th; only 2 points behind Dowling. Several PR's and season best times were established, and Coach Hokel and I are pleased with the progress of our team as we move towards Conference and our State Qualifying Meet."
