Comments From Men's Head Coach Darren Herrold:
"Our team is very happy with the results from our first meet. The effort put forth by our team was amazing. Their times and placing show that their hard work is paying off. The sprint medley of Jayden Swain, Jaden Peasley, Eli Rouse, and Chance Lande won in a very tough field. Distance medley of Rouse, Swain, Jameson Witt, and Trent Payne took first by over four seconds over a very talented Gilbert relay team. Our final champion was Eli Rouse in the open 200 in a very tight race to the finish. These are just three of the highlights from an excellent effort. While the men are happy with their results, they also know what needs to be done to improve their times. It's going to be a very fun and rewarding season for Ballard men's track."
