The Ballard men's soccer team used a dominant first half to secure a 4–2 conference victory over Winterset on Tuesday night.

The Bombers came out aggressive from the opening whistle, applying pressure and dictating the pace of play.  That intensity paid off in a big way, as Ballard poured in four first-half goals to take firm control of the match.

Winterset responded with a goal in each half, but the early deficit proved too much to overcome.  While the second half was more evenly played, Ballard stayed organized defensively and managed the game effectively to preserve the win.

The result moves Ballard to 4-4-0 overall and 3-1-0 in conference play, keeping the Bombers in a strong position moving forward.

Ballard returns to action Friday, April 3, traveling to Carlisle for a 5:30 PM kickoff.
