The Ballard men's golf team continued their impressive spring campaign with two standout showings this past week.
On Monday night, the Bombers hosted a triangular meet against Boone and Carroll, emerging victorious with a team score of 158. Carroll followed with 184, while Boone finished at 192. Ballard's consistent play was highlighted by Alex Weeks, who earned meet medalist honors with a 38, and Jamin Colvin, who was runner-up with a solid 39.
Just a few days later, the Bombers took their talents to the Woodward-Granger Tournament on Thursday afternoon, where they delivered another strong team performance. Ballard secured second place overall with a team total of 305, just behind ADM's winning score of 296. Jamin Colvin once again led the way with a 73, followed closely by Mason Gatchel (75), Brenden Wright (77), and Alex Weeks (80). Parker Domino (81) and Kolby Robinson (86) rounded out the deep Bomber lineup.
The Bombers continue to build momentum as they prepare for another big test next week. Up next, the Bombers will host a quad meet at Veenker Golf Course on Tuesday, April 22. Independence, Waverly-Shell Rock, and Nevada will all join the action, with tee times beginning at 1:00 PM.
