Bombers Improve to 6–3 with Road Win
Ballard Defeats Norwalk 2748-2635
The Ballard men's bowling team earned a hard-fought road victory Monday afternoon, edging Norwalk 2748–2635 in a competitive Heart of Raccoon Conference matchup.
Ballard was paced by a standout performance from junior Kyler Johnson, who rolled a match-best 444 series and the high game of 243. Johnson's consistency at the top of the lineup proved critical as the Bombers withstood strong individual efforts from Norwalk throughout the match.
Senior Braden Skurdal also delivered a key contribution for Ballard, finishing fifth overall with a 348 series and posting a high game of 189. The Bombers relied on steady frames across the lineup to maintain their advantage in what remained a tight contest until the final games.
Despite several strong performances by Norwalk, Ballard's ability to capitalize on strikes in the closing frames made the difference, allowing the Bombers to secure the road win.
With the victory, Ballard improves to 6–3 overall and 3–3 in Heart of Raccoon Conference play.
The Bombers return to action Monday, January 19, when they host ADM in a Heart of Raccoon Conference matchup beginning at 2:30 PM.
