Tapp Sets the Pace as Ballard Men Roll Past Tigers

The Ballard men's bowling team put together one of its strongest performances of the season at Perfect Games in Ames, powering past Gilbert by a final score of 2,793–2,433. Behind a standout showing at the top of the lineup and solid contributions throughout, the Bombers controlled the match from start to finish.
Senior Gage Tapp delivered a dominant effort, leading all bowlers with a 469 series. His performance included a match-high 277 game and an outstanding 234.5 average, providing Ballard with a significant advantage on the lanes and consistent scoring every game.
Fellow senior Stetson Kane backed him up with a 384 series, highlighted by a 213 high game and a 192.0 average. Seniors Kolby Robinson and Braden Skurdal added depth with nearly identical series totals of 335 and 334, respectively, while junior Carter Sparks rounded out the scoring with a 328 series and a 164.0 average.
With the win, Ballard moves to 3–2 overall and 1–2 in conference play. The Bombers will return to action on Friday, December 19, when they host Pella Christian for a 2:30 PM non-conference matchup.
