Ballard Defeats Knoxville 2809-1976
The Ballard men's bowling team delivered a commanding performance on Friday afternoon, rolling past Knoxville 2809–1976 at Perfect Games in Ames.
Senior Gage Tapp led the way with an outstanding 448 series, earning the meet's top score. Tapp also claimed the High Game with a 235 and finished with an impressive 224 average, setting the tone for Ballard's strong outing.
Junior Carter Sparks followed with a 419 series and a high game of 224, while junior Greyson Inglett added a 382 series and a high game of 192 to keep the Bombers comfortably ahead. Seniors Drake Hosteng and Braden Skurdal each contributed a 333 series, tying in both series score and average at 166.50. Skurdal notched a high game of 184, while Hosteng posted a 176.
With the win, the Bombers improve to 2-1 overall (0-1 conference).
