Men’s Bowling Rolls to Big Win Over Tigers
Ballard Defeats Madrid 2390-1760
The Ballard men's bowling team dominated Tuesday night at Perfect Games in Ames, cruising to a 2390–1760 non-conference victory over Madrid.
Senior Gage Tapp led the charge, topping the charts with a 389 series, including the night's high game of 210, and an impressive 194.50 average per game. Senior teammate Stetson Kane was right behind, posting a 378 series and a high game of 195, maintaining a strong 189.00 average throughout the match.
Senior Braden Skurdal added another big performance for Ballard, finishing with a 324 series and a high game of 201, rounding out the team's dominant top three.
Madrid's top performers were junior Caleb Berberich, who rolled a 335 series with a high game of 186, and senior Don Cowden, who added a 305 series. Despite their efforts, the Tigers were unable to match Ballard's balanced attack.
With the win, Ballard improves to 1–1 on the season, showing strong potential early in the campaign.
