Bomber Standouts Shine in All-Conference Honors
Six Named To The Team
After an impressive 21-3 season, including a 15-1 record in Raccoon River Conference play, the Ballard Bombers have been well-represented in the All-Conference honors. Six Ballard athletes earned recognition for their stellar performances, led by unanimous First-Team selection Jude Gibson.
First Team - Unanimous Selection: Jude Gibson
Gibson was the driving force behind Ballard's offensive attack, leading the team in scoring with 358 points across 23 games. The junior guard was relentless on the court, averaging 15.6 points per game while shooting 43.4% from the field. He also contributed 90 rebounds, 73 assists, and 53 steals, demonstrating his all-around impact. His 76.0% free-throw shooting made him a reliable scorer in clutch moments, solidifying his place as one of the conference's elite players.
First Team: Parker Miller
Sophomore forward Parker Miller was a powerhouse in the paint, shooting an impressive 61.7% from the field while tallying 219 points on the season. His ability to finish inside, combined with his defensive presence, made him a critical part of Ballard's success. Miller also recorded 119 rebounds, 61 assists, and 46 steals, proving to be a force on both ends of the floor.
Second Team: Jackson Brown
Senior sharpshooter Jackson Brown played a key role for the Bombers, earning Second-Team honors with his consistent scoring and perimeter shooting. Brown finished the season with 278 points, shooting 39.3% from beyond the arc while knocking down 48 three-pointers. He was also a steady presence at the free-throw line, converting 72.5% of his attempts. Brown's ability to stretch the floor and score in key moments made him an invaluable asset.
Honorable Mention: Easton Ersland
Junior forward Easton Ersland made his presence felt inside, shooting an efficient 51.3% from the field while scoring 157 points on the season. His defensive contributions were equally impressive, with 73 rebounds, 25 steals, and an imposing 22 blocks. Ersland's ability to protect the rim and provide valuable minutes on both ends earned him well-deserved recognition.
Honorable Mention: Mason Gatchel
Senior Mason Gatchel provided a steady presence off the bench, shooting 48.9% from the field and contributing 51 points. He was a reliable option when called upon, adding 30 rebounds, 15 assists, and 15 steals. His well-rounded play and leadership helped Ballard maintain its strong depth throughout the season.
Honorable Mention: Miles Mudd
Senior guard Miles Mudd played a key role in Ballard's backcourt, scoring 162 points while dishing out 43 assists. He also grabbed 82 rebounds and recorded 43 steals, making his impact felt in multiple facets of the game. Mudd's energy and defensive prowess made him a critical piece of Ballard's success.
