Bombers Drop Bluejays In RRC Action
#1 Ballard Defeats Bondurant-Farrar 68-51
The Ballard men's basketball team extended their undefeated streak with a commanding 68-51 victory over Raccoon River Conference rival Bondurant-Farrar on Friday night. The Bombers started strong with a 22-point first quarter and maintained their momentum throughout, improving their record to 10-0 overall and 9-0 in conference play.
Junior Jude Gibson led the charge for Ballard, delivering a stellar performance with 21 points, including 4-of-5 from beyond the arc, and adding five rebounds and four assists. Sophomore Parker Miller showcased his efficiency, scoring 13 points on 55.6% shooting and grabbing five rebounds while contributing defensively with a steal and a block. Senior Jackson Brown added nine points and played a key role in Ballard's balanced offensive effort.
Freshman Bryce Miller and junior Caden Agena each chipped in seven points, combining for eight rebounds and three assists. Senior Miles Mudd contributed seven points as well, knocking down two three-pointers and playing a solid defensive game.
The Bombers will look to continue their dominance when they face Boone on Tuesday, January 21, at 7:30 PM in another RRC matchup.
