The Ballard football team ran into a buzzsaw in the Humboldt Wildcats Friday night.  The Wildcats defeated the Bombers 40-0 led by Senior quarterback Caden Matson.  Matson was 15 of 18 in the air for 213 yards and carried the ball 22 times for 108 yards.

Ashton Hermann was 13 of 18 for 114 yards for the Bombers.  Gabriel Christensen carried the ball 8 times for 26 yards.  Jayden Cattell had three receptions for 54 yards.

Jacob Ihle led the Bombers with 12.5 tackles on the night.

With the loss, the Bombers fall to 2-3 (0-1) on the season.

The Bombers are back in action on Friday - October 1 when they host Nevada for Homecoming.  The game will start at 7:00 PM.
