Strong Day For The Ballard Dance Team
The Ballard Dance Team delivered an outstanding performance at the Iowa State Dance Championships on Friday at the Casey's Center in Des Moines, bringing home multiple top-five finishes and showcasing the talent, precision, and dedication that define the program.
Ballard's day was highlighted by two runner-up finishes, earning 2nd Place in Pom and 2nd Place in Mix. Both routines were crowd favorites, marked by sharp technique, synchronized movement, and high-energy choreography that set the team apart on the state's biggest stage.
The success continued with a 3rd Place finish in Contemporary, where the dancers demonstrated their artistry and emotion through a powerful, polished performance. Ballard also secured 4th Place in Lyrical, showing versatility and strength across multiple styles.
In addition to team events, Ballard had strong representation in the solo categories. Elin Watson earned 6th Place, delivering a poised and expressive performance. Logan Till claimed the Class 7 Championship, standing at the top of the podium with a standout routine that impressed judges and spectators alike.
It was a full team effort from start to finish, and the Bombers left Des Moines with hardware, pride, and momentum for the rest of the season.
