Bondurant-Farrar Defeats Ballard 6-3

On Monday night, the Ballard baseball team lost 6-3 to Bondurant-Farrar in a conference game.
Eli Rouse pitched for the Bombers, striking out three and giving up four earned runs in five innings. Nicolas Schonhorst went 2 for 4, scoring a run, while Jacob Luster was 2 for 2 with a double and a walk. Drew Pingel contributed with a 1-for-3 performance for the Bombers.
This loss brings the Bombers' season record to 1-3 overall and 0-1 in conference play.
The Bombers will be back in action on Wednesday, May 22, hosting Carlisle in a Raccoon River Conference contest. Junior varsity will start at 5:00 PM, followed by varsity.
