Rouse, Bombers Shut Down Mustangs
Ballard Defeats Dallas Center-Grimes 3-1

Eli Rouse pitched six strong innings in the Bombers 3-1 home opener win over Dallas Center-Grimes on Monday night. Rouse went six innings scattering two Mustang's hits and struck out seven. Jaden Peasley came in the seventh to save the game. The Bombers themsleves only managed two hits, one by Rouse and one by Jaren Njos. Jacob Ross drove in two for the Bombers.
With the win, the Bombers improve to 1-0 (0-0) on the season.
The Bombers are back in action on Thursday, May 19 when they travel to Webster City. The junior varsity and varsity will play starting at 5:30 PM.
